The RlangC app is the fast and easy tool for the experienced Call-Center-Manager. Let it calculate the required number of agents for you by simply entering the desired service level. Or have it calculate the achievable service level for a given number of agents. This app uses the generally recognized Erlang C formula to calculate the service level and the number of required agents.
This app will calculate
• the traffic intensity,
• the agent occupancy,
• the probability of a caller being queued,
• the average waiting time and
• the maximum waiting time
Even without a deeper understanding of the underlying mathematical model and its numerically stable implementation, you will get an app that will present you with the most important information in a matter of seconds - even for larger inputs (up to 40,000 calls per hour and average call duration times of 3,600 seconds).
